Warranty instructions

All BlackBox products are rigorously tested to ensure the products you trust meet the most stringent standards.

Should a problem arise with a product caused by manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, BlackBox will, at its option, repair or replace the product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions set forth herein.

The GRIPO™ is milled extremely precisely from medical stainless steel (certified) using gold-plated neodymium magnets in a very complex process and manufactured with the lowest tolerances, so that we offer our GRIPO™ customers a lifetime guarantee against material and workmanship defects for the entire service life of the product. We must limit this lifelong guarantee to 30 years due to the legal requirement of Section 202 Paragraph 2 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

The warranty applies to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper care, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear; Purely cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, stains, color changes or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the product are also excluded.

Maintenance and repairs under warranty must be carried out by BlackBox or a company designated by BlackBox. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs will void this warranty.

For warranty service you need the properly completed warranty voucher or the original receipt. We will then check whether the problem is covered by the warranty or not. If the warranty applies, you will be informed whether the product will be repaired or replaced. Such repair or replacement will then be carried out at BlackBox's expense, including the costs incurred to return the repaired or replaced product to you.

If the product is to be replaced and the product is no longer available, BlackBox will replace a product of equal value.

Incidental and consequential damages are expressly excluded. Labor costs and damages resulting from work performed by other persons are not covered by this warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are hereby disclaimed. The warranty provided herein is limited to the value of the product.

This lifetime guarantee gives you certain legal rights. In addition to the rights described herein, you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state or country to country, relating to the exclusion or application of implied warranties, incidental and consequential damages, and repair and replacement. As a result, the limitations or exclusions expressly contained in this warranty may not apply to your case.

In the European Union, if the goods are found to be inconsistent with the contract, you have a legal right to seek free remedies from the seller. These remedies are not affected by the warranty described herein.
